Overview - Train of Thought
It all became clear to me the direction and abstracted practical use of stablecoins. Coinbase held an event to promote paying with stablecoins USDC for goods by hosting a hotdog truck in NYC, you could pay for a hot dog using USDC instead of a credit card; no more 2.9% processing fees, instant settlement, near $0 transaction costs. I could see it, the archaic legacy middle man infrastructure would be phased out. Now what about cross border settlements and payments? There would be no more cumbersome intermitaries, slow processing banks, clearing houses taking 3-7 business days to settle your hard earned payments into your bank accounts. The new financial system was instant and near zero cost.
Coming from a crypto native background and robust understanding of consumer behavior with my entrepenuer experience, I envisioned abstracting the unfriendly UI and confusion of the the current web3 experience. You don't need to know what an automatic clearing house (ACH) or how SWIFT workers to understand how to utilize a bank account. It should be the same for stablecoin applications, abstract away the technology and emphasize ease of everyday use to support non-crypto native users.
